Not quite five stars because I missed a Gran Coupe at Harrogate because someone who will remain unnamed forgot to get the car to Hull so I bought one from Blackburn BMW.
3-4 attempts to sort the problem
Whilst my car was in for service it was washed and hoovered...??
Would have been 10 except it was very long and we had to wait areoun for a while when picking up the car.
Staff were extremely kind and very helpful in regards to getting my car serviced.

airbag changed ok. car not valeted inside. You diagnosed steering fault as complete new steering rack all it was was a heat shield had come loose, repaired but BM tech for £36
Completed recall work very quickly. Car was ready and cleaned ready for collection.
Friendly, really helpful staff, no issues with keeping the courtesy car for longer when my car needed work. Called me promptly to discuss repairs and let me know it was ready for collection.

Just one thing actually when I pick my car up at 5:30 p.m. a different person saved from the morning he said how are you paying I said by card I said how much he said we can always charge you more

faultless and easy transition from decision to payment to driving away
Purchase and delivery were fine but its the bad experience I am currently going through, could not be booked earlier as a courtesy car had a 2 week wait.
I was welcomed to the sales room with a lovely coffee and scrumptious biscuit and then a charming young salesman sat down with me to talk about the car he would recommend for me and his detailed explanation of the car and took me on a test drive.
Again just a no fuss clear service.
Everything went very smoothly, excellent staff, excellent deal. Accommodated all requests.
The only thing we were missing when we drove away from the showroom was the activation code for the sat nav. It wasnt available to hand over to us at the time. Our salesman Johnathan was very apologetic for this at sourced the code later that week.

Brand new car, had dent in driver side but was sorted asap
For reasons said above, and the free biscuits and coffee of course :-). Matt kept the unveiling of the car as a surprise which was a lovely experience as I never received this when I purchased my Mini 1d car previous to this car.
We feel we had a fair deal and because of all the reasons in the answer to the first question. A pleasant and friendly environment especially the salespersons involved who we cannot praise highly enough.
